The Neutral Density (ND) Filter Kit for the Imatest Stray Light LED Source provides a way slide filters in and out of the beam path, especially useful for attenuating the light source. The stray light source projects an image of a small point-like source as a uniform, collimated beam of light. When imaged by a camera, the saturated image of the source produces stray light that can be visually inspected or analyzed using Imatest stray light analysis software. In cases where camera exposure or gain cannot be sufficiently reduced, a ND filter can be placed in the beam path to reduce the light intensity further, allowing capture of an unsaturated image of the source.
